Meet Our Principal
The Pride Elementary School Principal is Kristy Saint. This is her 4th year serving the students. She has been in education for 23 years.
Saint earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Western Kentucky University, a master’s degree in elementary education from Murray State University, and a master’s degree in instructional leadership – principal from University of the Cumberlands.
Saint was named Hopkins County Schools Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2012. She is listed in Who’s Who Among American Teachers and Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Teaching and Education.
Ms. Saint is passionate about the students of Pride Elementary and works hard to ensure the success of each student. The favorite part of her day is working with students. She is proud of the accomplishments of Pride. They have been named a Distinguished School, School of Distinction, & High Performing School over the last two years. The 2016-2017 Academic Team recently won the District Governor's Cup and then the Regional Governor's Cup. She is often quoted saying, "The students, parents, faculty, and staff members of Pride Elementary are Falcon Fabulous!"
