Lead Teacher
My name is Ashli Conrad and I am a single mother of 3 daughters; Farris, Lillie and Mattie. Farris attends WKU, Lillie is part of the Marching Maroons and Mattie is in the 5th grade here at Pride Avenue Elementary. I started teaching in 1997. I taught kindergarten for two years and first grade for one year. The rest of the time, I have taught preschool. I have an in depth knowledge about early childhood development and of what students should experience within the preschool setting. I love children. I enjoy getting to know my students family. I absolutely love my job!
I have lived in Hopkins County all my life. I began college here and received an Associate of Art degree from the Madisonville Community College. I then enrolled in the 2 plus 2 program and attended Western Kentucky University classes locally to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. When MCC joined with Murray State University, I went on to earn my Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling. We are very fortunate to live a community that supports education at every level.
