If school is cancelled and a SKILLS Day is used, our students are expected to complete at least 3 hours of school work in Odysseyware just as if school was in session.

National School Bus Safety Week
School bus transportation plays a critical role in the education of our nation's students, and is the direct link between a neighborhood and the classroom. More than 25 million children ride the yellow bus every school day.

The new school will be built on the existing campus in Hanson.

Baptist Health Madisonville joined with Hopkins County School administrators, teachers and students to celebrate the launch of Project Fit America at South Hopkins Middle School.

Junior Leadership Ambassadors Selected
Junior Leadership consists of ambassadors from each elementary and middle school and two from each high school in the district.

Assessment Results Show Improvement
Four Hopkins County elementary schools received 4 stars in the state’s new 5-star accountability system for public schools. The district, as a whole, received 3 stars at elementary, middle, and high school levels.
