Ms. Grannas

I am a Maryland native, growing up in a very diverse agricultural setting. During my high school career I was an actice FFA member and served as chapter treasurer during my senior year. My high school experience was a bit different than most experience. I attended a tech ed school, meaning there was an application and interview process to be accepted into the program I applied for. I was accepted in to the animal science program and heavily studied animal science during my whole high school career. I enjoy working with all forms of livestock and crops, but specialize in equine.

My college career started at Harford Community College. I received my Associate of Arts degree in May 2016 and transfered to Murray State where I continued my education. Although I earned my Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Education, I always say I earned more than a degree during my time at Murray state. The amount of opportunities affored were endless and I'm forever thankful for my experiences learned. I graduated in December 2018 and worked for MSU's TRiO Talent Search program as an academic coordinator. I was able to work with students to better prepare them for post-secondary education and teach important life skills.

I am very excited to be teaching at MNHHS this coming year! I'm looking forward to meeting you and learning more about our agricultural industry with you!
