My name is Regina Cullen. I am a special education teacher. I am starting my 28th year of teaching. I have taught special education for my entire career even though I have teaching certificates for biology/psychology (grades 9-12), life sciences (grades 7-12), and elementary ed (grades 1-8). In the past I have taught at Pride, North Hopkins, and Hanson. This is my 14th year at Earlington School.
I grew up in Dalton with my 2 older sisters. I graduated from West Hopkins High School in 1979. I attended to Madisonville Community College and earned my undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. I also attended Western Kentucky University for my post graduate work where I completed my Master's degree and Rank I.
In 1994, I bought a house right outside Madisonville city limits and have lived there since then. As a child, I usually attended St. Paul's Church in Princeton. However, several times a year we would go to church at Immaculate Conception in Earlington so this town has always held a special place in my heart.
I read action/adventure books (James Rollins, Steve Berry, Andy McDermott, Carolyn McCray). I also like to play computer games and work any kind of puzzle (crossword, jigsaw, and word search to name a few). My favorite TV shows are Criminal Minds, Zoo, Sleepy Hollow, and The Big Bang Theory.
