About the Teacher
Born: February 3rd in Owensboro, KY
High School: I graduated from Ohio County High School in 1994.
College: In December 1998, I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Moderate Severe Disabilities. I obtained my Master's Degree from Campbellsville University in May 2004 with a degree in Learning Behavior Disabilities.
Years of Experience: My first 1 1/2 was at Ohio County High School and I began here at James Madison Middle School in August of 2000.
Family: I have been married for eighteen years. My husband, Jerry Rager, is also in education and is the principal at Muhlenberg North Middle School. We have two beautiful little girls. My oldest daughter, Courtney Grace, is 16 years old and was born on Father's Day. She attends school at Muhlenberg County High School were she is a junior and enjoys playing volleyball and participates in pageants. Hannah Faith is 12 years old and was born just a day after Mother's Day. She attends school at Muhlenberg North Middle School as a 7th grader. She enjoys sewing, making bracelets, participating in pageants, and is on the North Stars dance team.
Personal Interest/Hobbies: I enjoy spending my time with my husband and children, boat riding, swimming, going to church, and traveling. I'm also very involved in my church and have been involved with prison ministry for the past eleven years. I also just got back from my fifth mission trip to Honduras where I spend time at Good Shepherd Childrens Home and working with Borders Expanded Missions.
