A message from your principal,
Mrs. Julie Vaughn
Dear JSES Eagles,
I am honored to be the new principal of Jesse Stuart Elementary School. I was born and raised in Hopkins County and am passionate about leading and serving my community. I believe education is more than academics and it is a privilege to work in the education field. I am a leader who puts relationships, safety and learning at the forefront of all decisions made. I will use my skills, experience, and passion for effective instruction to bring about positive change in order to make JSES an even better place to learn, work, grow, and belong. I will successfully lead by working as a team, creating an environment where everyone cheers each other on, high expectations are set and growth is celebrated, in order for Jesse Stuart Elementary School to become the top elementary school in Hopkins County and beyond.
At JSES, we look forward to working together to do what is best for your child. Please know I am always a phone call, email or visit away. I am excited to share that the building will be open for visitors this year, including monthly lunch dates, PTA programs, holiday meals/parties, weekly Eagle Rallies, a Christmas program, Daddy Daughter Dance, Spring Carnival, and much more! With this normalcy comes a return to truancy guidelines, in accordance with Hopkins County Schools’ attendance policy. Consistent attendance is an important predictor of students’ academic success. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding these guidelines and procedures.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child. JSES is made up of an amazing faculty and staff who are here for you and your family. Let’s make the 22-23 school year the best one yet!
