Ms. Marsh's Classroom

  • Meet Ms. Marsh......

Welcome to my website! Hello, my name is Brittany Hibbs Marsh and I have been teaching in Hopkins County since 2009.  So far in my teaching career, I have taught special education at the high school level and reading at the middle school level.

I am a Hopkins County native, who graduated from Hopkins County Central in 2002. In 2005, I graduated from Madisonville Community College with an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science degree. In 2009 I graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education (K-5) and Special Education (Learning/Behavior Disorders, K-12).  I graduated again from Murray State in 2013 with my Master's Degree in Education (Teacher Leader Program).

I currently teach 8th grade Reading at South Hopkins Middle School.  I am the an assistant cheer coach at HCCHS, and enjoy my involvement outside of the classroom.  I have a heart for teaching. My goal is for all students to be successful and for a child to understand, even if things aren't always easy and the hand dealt isn't all that great, this does not mean one must settle for what is least deserved.  Every child has a right to success, and it is my responsibility to do what I can to make that possible.  Why settle for failure, when success is an option?

    Thanks for viewing my webpage!
