MADISONVILLE -- The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls' golf team came out on top in a nine-hole match against Apollo at Lakeshore Country Club on Monday.

LUCAS -- The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls' golf team shined at the Barren River Invitational on Saturday, posting the best team score Coach Sam Westfall has ever seen at 331 to finish as the tournament Runner-Up.

ELIZABETHTOWN -- Madisonville-North Hopkins girls' golf coach Sam Westfall said he would "jump for joy" if his team finished in the top three at Friday's E-Town Central Hardin Tournament at Elizabethtown Country Club.

BOWLING GREEN -- The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls' golf team not only posted its best team score of the season to date on Thursday, but also one of the best scores coach Sam Westfall has seen in his entire stint with the program.

BOWLING GREEN -- The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls' golf team finished fifth out of 13 competing teams at the Greenwood Tournament on Tuesday, posting a combined score of 351, its best team score of the season thus far.

HENDERSON -- For the third tournament in a row, Madisonville-North Hopkins senior Shelby Darnell found herself at the top of the individual scoreboard on Monday in the Lady Colonel Invitational at Henderson Country Club. Only this time, she had some competition, as Henderson County senior Payton Carter had finished with an identical top score of 75 (+3), meaning the two would have to go into a playoff to decide the individual champion.

CAMPBELLSVILLE -- Madisonville-North Hopkins senior Shelby Darnell made it two in a row on Saturday, winning her second individual Champion award in as many days with a score of 73 (+1) at the Lady Cardinal Classic.

MADISONVILLE -- The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls' golf couldn't have started off the 2017 season much better than it did on Friday, finishing as the runner-up in the Lady Maroon Invitational, while senior Shelby Darnell took first place as an individual.
